T. Gejadze- Question: Which period of your artistic activity and artwork would you single out?

Answer: Every period hides in itself experiences of artistic life made of effort and hard work … But if I am close to respond by giving a preference…. The present time is more than any other a set of experiences and life lived in replaceable and full of emotions (“ogni periodo nasconde in sé esperienze vissute di vita artistica fatta di fatica e duro lavoro… Ma se sono costretto a rispondere dando una preferenza…. Il tempo presente è più di ogni altro un insieme di esperienze e vita vissuta insostituibile e pieno di emozioni” )

T. Gejadze – Question: An artist, or a work of art that has made the biggest impression on you?

Answer: There are several masters who guided my training path but those to whom I am most traditionally linked from the same land from the same blood from the same country, Tuscany in which I was born and raised, are the Italian Renaissance with its great protagonists from Raphael to Leonardo to Michelangelo but more precisely I would say that my great love is The Roman 600 by Michelangelo Merisi known as the Caravaggio of Velasquez of which I admire the light and the scenic composition of the truest and unveiled reality, not least also the Victorian painting of the nineteenth century by lord Frédéric Leighton and Sir Alma Tadema my great stylistic and pictorial reference points and the magnificent French painting of his greatest masters of the nineteenth century such as Dominique Ingres, I can only answer this question with all these great protagonists that I admire and whom all together they indelibly deeply inspired my pictorial life, but if I have to express a judgment on a work of art that most of all inspired me I choose a work little known to the public of art in general, the grandiose work of Mestro Antonio Ciseri (the martyrdom of the Maccabee brothers) now visible in the church of  Happiness (Felicita) in Florence that admirable work it is one of the greatest pictorial compositions in which in my humble opinion all these greatest ideals of style and composition, theatricality and  emotional expression (transport) are enclosed, to which today it moves me continuously.  (“diversi sono i maestri che hanno guidato il mio percorso di formazione ma quelli ai quali sono maggiormente legato per tradizione dalla stessa terra dallo stesso sangue dallo stesso paese la Toscana nella quale sono nato e cresciuto, sono il Rinascimento Italiano con i suoi grandi protagonisti da Raffaello a Leonardo a Michelangelo ma piu precisamente direi che il mio grande amore è Il 600 Romano di Michelangelo Merisi detto il caravaggio di Velasquez del quale ammiro la luce e la composizione scenica della realtà più vera e senza veli non per ultima anche la pittura vittoriana dell 800 di lord Frédéric Leighton e sir alma tadema miei grandi punti di riferimento stilistico e pittorico e la magnifica pittura francese dei suoi più grandi maestri dell 800 come Dominique Ingres, a questa domanda posso solo rispondere con tutti questi grandi protagonisti che ammiro e i quali tutti insieme hanno indelebilmente ispirato profondamente la mia vita pittorica, ma se devo esprimere un giudizio su un opera d arte che più di tutte mi ha ispirato scelgo un opera poco conosciuta al pubblico dell arte in genere, l’opera grandiosa del Mestro Antonio Ciseri (il martirio dei fratelli maccabei) adesso visibile nella chiesa di santa felicità in Firenze quella opera mirabile è una delle più grandi composizioni pittoriche nella quale a mio modesto giudizio sono racchiusi tutti questi miei più grandi ideali di stile e composizione teatralità e trasporto emotivo, al quale oggi mi emoziona continuamente” )

T. Gejadze – Question: Please name the country or countries, the nature of which you charmed?

Answer: I love Italy and Tuscany very much and I am proud to have been born and lived in this great country of mine, but I believe that if I had to choose a country where to live and paint I would choose London and England, which has always been a reference for European pictorial art and culture. (“io amo molto L’ Italia e la Toscana e sono orgoglioso di essere nato e vissuto in questo mio grande Pease, ma credo che se dovessi scegliere un Paese dove poter vivere e dipingere sveglierei Londra e l’Inghilterra da sempre un riferimento per l’arte e la cultura pittorica europea“)
